ABOUT ME

WHO AM I?

With a Master’s degree in Business Administration and extensive experience in change and project management, I bring a deep expertise in successfully implementing transformation processes and managing stakeholder relationships.

My strong communication skills and keen understanding of customer needs enable me to develop sustainable, goal-oriented solutions. As an intrapreneur with a high affinity for IT, regular reality checks and (disruptive) innovations are part of my DNA.

Additionally, I have been volunteering in various roles and committees in the field of soccer for over two decades, actively contributing to social progress through sports.

I am looking forward to meeting you.

Cheers,

Alain

WHAT I LIKE

Nautics & Fishing

I made a dream come true by buying my first boat in 2018. I caught my first fish when I was three years old.

Refereeing

I have been a referee for over two decades, officiating more than 600 matches. This means over 600 games where my assistants and I were the (only!) reason why others lost their games. Currently, I serve as a referee observer/coach and Head of the Club Referee department. I previously served 19 years on the board of the referees' association.

Upcycling / DIY

Throwing old things away is easy. Why not make a desk lamp from an old whiskey bottle or a table from an old wooden cable reel? I have a small private workshop where I can spend hours working on these projects.

Gardening

One of the many ways I successfully relax and recharge. Creating a pleasant environment that others can enjoy with me is equally satisfying and rewarding.

Reading

Whether it's Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie's Inspector Hercule Poirot, or Yuval Noah Harari's book "Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind," combined with a good glass of wine or a nice cup of tea: reading lets me forget everything around me for a couple of hours.

Programming

I have taught myself how to code in various languages, including PHP, JavaScript, VBA, HTML, CSS, and Google Apps Script. This includes using databases such as MySQL and MS Access. Recently, I started combining my DIY and programming skills by creating various projects with Arduino ™.
